How long before AI automation runs in a hotel?

. Written by Martin Veltman.

Short answer

The first system is usually live within a few weeks. That is an indication and not a promise: the pace depends on your processes and on how quickly your team wants to approve. We always start with a review of your operation, because without figures per process nobody knows where to begin.

Where the time goes

The building itself is rarely the longest part. Most of the time sits in the two things around it: finding out where time leaks away in your house, and letting your team get used to work it no longer does itself.

That is why the review comes first. We look at how your house runs, which tasks return every day and what they cost. You get an overview per process, with figures instead of impressions, and only then does a euro go into the build.

What sets the pace

Three things. The number of processes you want to take on at once, the data your systems hold and how quickly your people can check the work.

Your PMS is the starting point. Together we look at which data is available there to connect reservations and guest communication. If something is not in your systems, that is no reason to stop, but it is a reason to begin somewhere else.

What happens in those first weeks

Step one is the review: where time leaks away and what that costs per month. Step two is building in the tone of your house, on your PMS, your OTA portals, your point of sale, your accounting and your email. Step three is delivery with a dashboard, so you see per day what a system handles.

In step two your team approves the work before it goes out. That costs time at first, and it is meant to: trust comes from watching, not from a promise.

What we do not commit to

A fixed lead time before we know your house. We would rather promise too little than too much, and the indication above is exactly that.

What we do commit to: from the first day you see what a system does, and you decide yourself when it may do more.

Tell us how your house runs and in half an hour you will know whether this suits your house.
