Automating direct bookings and pricing work

Revenue is the yield per room and the route by which it comes in. We strengthen the direct booking, keep an eye on the OTA portals and back your price with data. The decision stays yours.

So we do not touch your price. The system gathers what you decide on: this week's demand, the same week last year, what the portals are showing. That is not modesty but an agreement made in advance, because a price that moves by itself is one nobody can explain to your returning guest.

What we take over

The digging that comes before a pricing decision.

Direct bookings
We make the direct route more attractive than the OTA, with timely responses to enquiries and a booking experience that matches your brand.
OTA signals spotted in time
Price differences, availability drifting out of line and opportunities around busy dates come into view before they cost money.
Pricing support
A price recommendation backed by demand, history and what is happening in your market. You decide, the system supplies the reasoning.

The Wednesday before a busy weekend

One of your room types is filling up for the weekend, just as the city announces a conference.

Now
Today you see that only when somebody happens to look. A PMS is opened, then somebody clicks through the portals and searches a file for what this weekend did last year. That usually happens on Thursday, and by then the first rooms have gone at the price of an ordinary week.
Once it runs
The signal arrives on Wednesday morning, with the reasoning underneath it: the demand right now, the history, what the neighbourhood is doing. You decide yourself whether to move the price, and you can see what that decision rests on. If you do nothing, nothing happens.

What it plugs into

Where a recommendation gets its reasoning.

A price recommendation without a source is an opinion. So every proposal comes with the figures beside it, out of the systems you already use.

PMS
The bookings on the books right now, per room type and per date, next to the same week last year.
OTA portals
What your house costs there, what is still available, and where your own site and the portal drift apart.
Your own booking page
The enquiries that come in directly, so the direct route is visible next to the portals instead of underneath them.

What stays manual

The price stays a decision of the house.

The system proposes and calculates, it changes nothing in your PMS and nothing in a portal. That line is deliberate: a price that sets itself costs you the conversation with the guest who paid less last year, and that conversation is dearer than the room. An offer to a guest or a company only goes out after one of your people has read it. What the system cannot support with figures stays a question rather than a recommendation.

The first four weeks

Until the first signal you trust.

An indication. In a house with many room types it takes longer before a signal holds.

  1. Week 1

We record how your prices are set today and who looks at them when. That is more often a habit than a process, and that is no reproach.

  2. Week 2

The sources come together in one view: bookings, history and the portals side by side, with nothing recommended yet.

  3. Week 3

Watching without advice. You see which signals the system would raise, and whether they match what you would have spotted yourself.

  4. Week 4

Only once those signals held does the reasoning go underneath them, and you decide whether to act on it.

The limit

What this is not.

This is not a revenue management system that sets your prices, and it replaces nobody who knows your market. It removes the digging that comes before a decision. If your house has one room type and a price that stands all year, this delivers little. The gain sits with houses that have several room types, shifting demand and portals that can drift out of line.

You decide on every price and your booking data is never used to train a model.

How we handle your data

Curious what this would deliver for your house?

We go through your operation and work out what each process costs you today. Your PMS, OTA portals and accounting stay in place, we replace nothing without a reason. A first call puts you under no obligation.
